Getting PM CompModel™
About the Application
The Lite version (free) of the PM CompModel tool is based on Microsoft Access version 2002/XP, 2003 or 2007. It runs on Microsoft
Windows and does require a copy of Microsoft Access on your system. If you do not
have a version of Microsoft Access, see the additional Pro options in the table below. The free version of
the CompModel tool featured on this page can be used on one workstation; it is not intended for network use.
Free for Visitors
Visitors to our site can download the Single-User CompModel Lite for no charge. Or, visitors with
additional requirements (PM Vendors or those who do not have a copy of Microsoft Access) can license a
Pro version from asapm (see the additional options, below).

Free for asapm Members
asapm members can request the downloadable CompModel SixPack Lite version, to be used for
assessing the Competences of yourself and up to six other team members or project stakeholders.
Members have access to this SixPack Lite download from the Members Only section of our website. This is a unique benefit of your asapm membership. This version also requires that you have a
copy of Microsoft Access 2002+ on your system.
The free downloaded versions and the CompModel Pro versions listed below include:
• The PM CompModel application, which requires Microsoft Access 2002+ on your system.
• A 16-page booklet that describes the background (Adobe Acrobat) of the CompModel process.
• A 16 page CompModel User Guide (Adobe Acrobat); be sure to read this!
• A copy of the PowerPoint slideshow, also available in Flash format from the preceding page.
CompModel Pro versions listed below are also available. These versions come with a Run-time version of Microsoft Access, for those who do not have it on their system. They let you customize the model,
to modify the Competences, add enterprise-specific items, or changing the targets for different
roles. The Pro versions are available as Single-User versions, SixPacks, Site Licenses, or PM Consultant licenses.
