On August 27, asapm member Russ Archibald was recognized at the Lille Graduate School of Management with an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy in Strategy, Programme & Project Management. Russ' award is in recognition of a lifetime of service. He has been active worldwide in improving local practice of Project Management, especially in developing countries. We all offer you a well-deserved congratulations, Russ!

BREDILLET, PhD, D.Sc., MBA, Ingénieur EC Lille, CPD Level A, PRINCE2 Practitioner, CCE, a PM luminary and academic advisor to our favorite troublemaker, Paul Giammalvo. In the center is the Dean who presented the award, Professor Jean-Pierre DEBOURSE, PhD.
The occasion was the 5th International PM Workshop, at ESC Lille, France Ecole Superior de Commerce de Lille. Bob Youker attended the Workshop, presented a paper, and took the above picture. He also helped track down the details. Thanks Bob, and thanks Professor Bredillet!
